West Virginia Real Estate License Requirements

Salesperson license requirements:

  • 18+ Years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • U.S. citizen, permanent resident alien or legally present in the U.S
  • Successful completion of approved 90 hour prelicense course
  • Successful completion of licensing exam

Additional Brokers License Requirements:

The following is a list of additional requirements for obtaining your Broker’s real estate license in the state of  West Virginia.

  • Successful completion of an approved 90 clock hours of real estate courses
  • Must have held an active real estate license for atleast 2 years immediately prior to application
  • Successful completion of broker exam
