Hawaii Real Estate License Requirements

Salesperson Licensing Requirements:
- 18+ Years of age
- US Citizen, US National, or an alien authorized to work in the US
- Valid SSN
- Successful completion of salesperson prelicensing course (or college equivalent)
- Pass Hawaii real estate salesperson licensing exam
- Submit application within 2 years of passing real estate salesperson licensing exam
Additional Broker Licensing Requirements:
The following is a list of additional requirements for obtaining your Broker’s real estate license in the state of Hawaii.
- Minimum of 3 (of the last 5) years actively holding a Hawaii salesperson license, with practical experience
- Successful completion of broker’s prelicense course
- Pass Hawaii real estate broker licensing exam
