Salesperson Licensing Requirements:
- 18+ Years of age
- Have a valid SSN
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of 63 hour Sales Associate Prelicensing course
- Pass Florida real estate salesperson licensing exam
- Submit application for licensure within 1 year of successful completion of real estate salesperson licensing exam
Exam fee – $31.50
Application fee – $105.00
Fingerprinting fee – $60.00
Additional Broker Licensing Requirements:
The following is a list of additional requirements for obtaining your Broker’s real estate license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 2 (of the last 5) years actively holding a Florida salesperson license
- Successful completion of 72 hour broker’s prelicense course
- Pass Florida real estate broker licensing exam
Exam fee – $31.50
Application fee – $115.00
Fingerprinting fee – $60.00
Reciprocal License:
Mutual Recognition* States: AL, AR, CT, GA, IN, MS, NE, OK, TN
* Mutual recognition allows for a sales associate to apply as a sales associate in Florida exempting them from the 63 hour pre-license education and requiring them to take the 40 question Florida laws section of the state exam.
