Salesperson Licensing Requirements:

  • U.S. citizen, permanent resident alien or legally present in the U.S
  • Conviction of a felony or a crime may result in denial of license
  • Successful completion of 99 hour prelicensing course accredited by the Delaware Real Estate Commission
  • Pass Delaware real estate salesperson licensing exam
  • Submit application for licensure within 1 year of successful completion of real estate salesperson licensing exam

Additional Broker Licensing Requirements:

The following is a list of additional requirements for obtaining your Broker’s real estate license in the state of Delaware.

  • Minimum of five years actively holding a Delaware salesperson license, and accrual of 30 qualified sales transactions within the last 5 years
  • Successful completion of 99 hour broker’s course accredited by the Delaware Real Estate Commission
  • Pass Delaware real estate broker licensing exam
  • Submit application for licensure within 1 year of successful completion of real estate broker licensing exam
