Salesperson Licensing Requirements:
- U.S. citizen, permanent resident alien or legally present in the U.S
- Conviction of a felony or a crime may result in denial of license
- Successful completion of 99 hour prelicensing course accredited by the Delaware Real Estate Commission
- Pass Delaware real estate salesperson licensing exam
- Submit application for licensure within 1 year of successful completion of real estate salesperson licensing exam

Additional Broker Licensing Requirements:
The following is a list of additional requirements for obtaining your Broker’s real estate license in the state of Delaware.
- Minimum of five years actively holding a Delaware salesperson license, and accrual of 30 qualified sales transactions within the last 5 years
- Successful completion of 99 hour broker’s course accredited by the Delaware Real Estate Commission
- Pass Delaware real estate broker licensing exam
- Submit application for licensure within 1 year of successful completion of real estate broker licensing exam
